It's a strange phenomenon where a large group of people remember something one way—even though it never actually happened that way. For example, many people swear they remember the Monopoly man having a monocle. (Spoiler: he never did.) Or they clearly remember the famous line from Star Wars being, "Luke, I am your father." (It's actually, "No, I am your father.") This collective false memory is called the Mandela Effect, named after the widespread belief that Nelson Mandela died in prison during the 1980s—when in fact, he passed away in 2013. So how does this happen? Scientists say it could be related to how our brains process information—filling in gaps, mixing memories, or being influenced by what we've seen or heard from others. Over time, what we think is truth becomes our new "reality." And that's where this gets spiritual. What If Your Memory of Jesus Isn't the Real One? The way Jesus is portrayed in movies, shows, and pop culture has shaped how countless people think of Him. The way Jesus is shown varies drastically—and rarely reflects the full truth. Some films present Him as soft-spoken, always smiling, and almost floating through scenes like a mystical guru, while other portrayals swing the opposite way, showing Him as harsh, constantly confrontational, and more focused on calling out wrong than showing compassion—almost as if He just enjoyed the spotlight and stirring controversy. But here's the question: Is that the Jesus of the Bible… or a Mandela Effect version of Him? Many people have a false memory of Jesus—not because they're trying to, but because their understanding of Him comes more from Hollywood than from the Word of God. The danger? They think they know Jesus, but in reality, they know a version crafted by directors, actors, and screenwriters—not the risen Savior of Scripture. Some movies add scenes that aren't in the Bible or make Jesus say things He never said—or say them in a way He never would. Over time, these versions of Jesus start to shape how we think. Then, when we open the Bible, we bring those movie scenes with us. Instead of letting the Holy Spirit reveal who Jesus truly is, we filter Scripture through Hollywood's lens—sometimes without even realizing it. So, How Do We Fix the False Memory? The solution is simple but powerful: Go to the source. Read the Gospels—really read them. Compare what you've been shown with what the Bible actually says. Ask God to show you who Jesus truly is through the Holy Spirit. John 17:3 says, "And this is life eternal, that they might know thee the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom thou hast sent." Knowing the real Jesus is not just important—it's eternal life. So the next time you hear someone describe Jesus, or see Him portrayed on screen, ask yourself: "Is this the Jesus of the Bible… or just another Mandela Effect?" You know, the big Hollywood event where celebrities dress up, hand each other trophies, and the world stops to watch? It's crazy how much time, energy, and obsession goes into celebrating actors and filmmakers. But here's something to think about—what are we really celebrating? Movies are powerful. They grab our attention, make us feel things, and even shape how we see the world. But let's be real—how often do they actually point us toward God? More often than not, they do the opposite. They fill our minds with things that distract us from Jesus, making sin look normal and making the things of God seem boring or outdated. The Bible talks a lot about idols—not just golden statues, but anything that takes our focus away from God. Today, those idols are all over entertainment. Celebrities are treated like gods, stories shape our beliefs, and before we know it, we're spending more time wrapped up in Hollywood's world than in God's Word. Jesus calls us to something better. Instead of getting caught up in a world that glorifies fame and fortune, He invites us to focus on Him—the only One truly worth following. Hebrews 12:2 says to fix our eyes on Jesus, but how can we do that if our eyes are glued to a screen all the time? This isn't about saying all movies are bad—but it's about asking: What's getting more of my time—God, or entertainment? Because at the end of the day, no award, no red carpet, and no celebrity status compares to the glory of knowing Him. DOGE dividend or redistribution of non-existent wealth

Uncle Elon plans to take 20% of the funds he has found and distribute it to Americans in the form of a $5,000 'DOGE dividend' check.  This same 20% is supposed to be part of Congressional overspending.  Does this not mean Elon Musk is attempting to commit acts of fraud on a national scale.  Again, if this $5,000 per American is being called a dividend, how then was it first part of overspending to the tune of $1.7 trillion?

Evangelicals Upset over Losing Funding from USAID for Drug and Vaccine Distribution and Child Trafficking "Ministries" February 11, 2025 1:06 pm Ever since President Trump declared he was cutting off all funding for USAID, along with Wikileaks publishing data on who has been receiving a piece of the multi-billion dollar international U.S. Government "slush fund," the Conservative Christian "Alternative" media has had a field day with publishing articles about the evil "liberal" organizations pushing their agenda overseas at the expense of USAID and federal funding. This is just another example of the hypocrisy on the Right, and how they are most certainly not pro-Free Speech, but only pro-Conservative Christian Speech, while censoring news that implicates their own complicity with taking government funding through USAID for their own programs, called "ministries." The huge amount of money flowing through USAID also funds Christian child trafficking through overseas adoptions, as well as Christian "medical missions" which fund the distribution of vaccines and western pharmaceutical products in poor countries. Conservatives have made a big deal over the revealing of USAID funds flowing into the "Liberal" corporate media, ignoring that funds also flowed into "Conservative" corporate media as well, such as Christianity Today. Evangelicals and other Christian groups who are now at threat of closing down due to the loss of government funding through USAID are beginning to complain, as $billions of government funding has made rich such Christian heavyweight international organizations such as World Relief, World Vision, Samaritan's Purse, and Catholic Relief Services.
