Concerning The Nature Of The Soul

What is the soul?  Where does it come from?  What is it made of?  Is it possible to know these things?  If it is possible, is it right to know them?  Will these things remain a mystery?  These are questions that mankind has asked since we first walked the earth.  Today, we shall find the answers.

First, I believe it is possible to know such things.  Not only is it possible, but it is right that we know them.  While there are such things as forbidden knowledge and 'forbidden fruit,'(1) information concerning the soul is of vital interest, even necessary.(2)(3)(4)(5)

What is the soul?  The soul is the consciousness of a person, the part of a person that learns, thinks, and acts.  It is housed inside the body, and is separated from the body at death.  The soul itself is capable of living(2) and dying.(6)  It has a beginning(2), an (possible) ending(6), and at the same time, is eternal.(5)

It is capable of knowing both pleasure and pain.(7)  It has emotions, both love and hate, and everything in between.(8)(9)(10)(11)

Where does the soul come from?  What is it made of?  What happens to it after death?  All souls come from God.(2)  The soul, at least partly, is physical in that it is capable of feeling, like our bodies(see references below).  As such, it is possible, at least in part, to make 'soul.'

Because the human soul is able to feel pleasure and pain, it is therefore partly related to the atom.  While the exact composition of the soul is unknown at this time, we can make an educated guess.

Feelings in the body are registered by the nervous system.  Given that the soul feels pain in Hell, the soul would be partly made from the same atoms as nerve endings.

Artifacts Made By Biblical Patriarch Abraham Found In Iraq

UR, Iraq (WorthyNews) -- A pair of figurines nearly 4,000 years old were discovered by Sir Leonard Wooley in 1929 that are linked to the biblical patriarch Abraham.  Called "Ram In A Thicket," the 16.5 inch figurine (which some say looks more like a goat) is made from gold, silver, copper, lapis lazuli, red limestone, and bits of shell.

The figurines were found as a pair and originally linked to the shrubs with silver chains, although one source claims these have completely decayed.

As you may recall, Abraham was commanded by God to go and sacrifice his son Isaac as a test of loyalty to him.  Abraham obeyed, and went to sacrifice Isaac on the mountain later named by Abraham Jehovah-jireh, meaning "The LORD will provide."

While technically there is no proof that Abraham made these figurines, it is the only possibility as a study of historical records and semi-mythological accounts mentioned elsewhere reveal that no other such thing was mentioned anywhere.

Genesis 1:1 and Creation

Genesis 1:1  "In the beginning God created the heaven and the earth."

In the beginning of what?  The beginning of the physical universe?  The beginning of the spiritual universe?  It is the beginning of all things created, even time.


According to the Bible, God created all things.  Of necessity, this includes things like gravity, wind, and time.  Sounds crazy?  Stephen Hawking, an admitted non-Christian and known believer in the Big Bang theory, verifies what the Bible implies.  Here's a quote from an article Mr. Hawking placed online regarding this:  "In this lecture, I would like to discuss whether time itself has a beginning, and whether it will have an end. All the evidence seems to indicate, that the universe has not existed forever, but that it had a beginning, about 15 billion years ago. This is probably the most remarkable discovery of modern cosmology." (1)  Although Stephen Hawking did not believe in a Creator, even he backs up Scripture.


In March 2018, Hawking seems to backtrack on this stating, concerning time:  "It was always reaching closer to nothing but didn't become nothing."(2)  Did Mr. Hawking sense an error in his own conclusions on time once he considered the implications of it?  The change in stance suggests Mr. Hawking saw scientific validity in the idea a Creator with regards to time and decided to change his mind.


Next part:  "God created the heaven and the earth."  Sounds simple enough.  God created space and earth.  But what about evolution?  Doesn't that prove the Bible isn't scientifically accurate and that God doesn't exist?


No, it doesn't.  The problem that evolution has is that it teaches that all things are self-created.  This is completely destroyed when it runs up against the law of conservation of energy. (3)  This states that energy can be neither created nor destroyed, but merely transformed from one substance to another, or transferred from one location to another.  The problem that evolutionists run into is that it can't explain where the energy came from in the first place.  Thus there is only one solution for them:  Admit that all matter, which is energy, came from outside the physical universe, that it came from a non-physical source.  The only option now is that the energy source is spiritual in nature.


Another problem with a self-creating, or quantum mechanically created universe is Isaac Newton's Third Law:  "For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction".(4)  According to proponents of the Big Bang theory, all matter in the universe was contained in one infinitesimally small dot, an atom.(5)  At some point, an explosion of infinite power happened in the center of this "atom" and cast all forms of energy across the universe, not to mention expanding the universe itself.  The problem with this idea is equilibrium, otherwise known as Newton's Third Law.  Equilibrium is defied as "A state of rest or balance due to the equal action of opposing forces."(6)  With equilibrium in play, the Big Bang theory becomes nothing more than an uninflated balloon, because the infinitely dense concentration of matter contained in the size of the atom would have cancelled out the infinitely powerful explosion, resulting in absolutely nothing happening.

Dear Friends,   I felt compelled to share this with you. It is still a secret, hidden behind the smiling faces of evil men defrauding innocent victims every day.  Ed Men of God or Sexual Deviants?   The God Makers II 1993     During the years of 1991 and 1992, I travelled with Pat Matrisciana and his film crew at Jeremiah Films as we researched sexual abuse amongst the LDS Church leaders over the decades.   I sat in many interviews with victims. They all told stories of abuse and shame at the hands of senior Church leaders [including the president of the church at the time] who either participated or condoned and hid the dirt from their people.   In 1993, I co-authored a book on the subject, The God Makers II with Caryl Matrisciana. The book followed the interviews and the trail of many tears we discovered in Mormondom.   The book was met with disbelief and scorn by some others in the Christian Ministry to the Mormon people. None of the scorners actually sat down with us or asked for more evidence.   One ministry in Salt Lake City went to the extreme measure of mailing an extremely derogatory letter to every Christian book store in America, we were told. They even had their charge of inaccurate extremism and half truths published by the Christian Booksellers' Association trade magazine.   This created a backwash of such a magnitude that our publisher, Harvest House, pulled the book and discontinued its sales.   Ironically, as the years passed, more and more victims and witnesses came out and confirmed everything we had published. It was too late to do anything about it. We had people to lead to Jesus and this had become too much a bone of contention.   Our credibility was damaged and we had a group of people who spent a lot of time trying to take us out of the ministry when they should have been reaching those lost in spiritual darkness.   Why am I telling you all this?   Because all this filth the LDS Leaders were sweeping under their heavenly carpet became too widespread to hide anymore.   It turned out that we just brushed the surface of the problem with our film and book. Recently, the carpet was pulled back and the demons of sexual abuse and corporate lies and deceit have blown across the church.   I am sharing the chapter of the book that was scorned and the subject of such derision. I can tell you that every interview, every story was checked and double checked for honesty and accuracy throughout our research. I was there and was witness to it.   Most victims had not seen or talked to other victims in many years, yet their stories synced together to reveal a horrendous secret part of the LDS Church. Arnold Fruchtenbaum has noted five-hundred parallels in the Older Covenant, and another author claims there are over 800 parallels. Below are some of the connections I have found just in regards to Yeshua. Visions Revelation 1:1 – "This is the revelation which Yahweh gave to Yeshua the Messiah, so that he could show his servants what must happen very soon." Revelation starts out with the statement that a disclosure of information has been given to Yeshua regarding what is going to happen. This statement should not be surprising, as Yahweh says he does nothing without first warning his prophets (Amos 3:7), and Yeshua is the prophet from Nazareth of Galilee (Matthew 21:11, Revelation 19:10). The Parallels Ezekiel 12:27-28 – "Human being, look! People from the house of Israel are saying, 'The vision he sees concerns the distant future; he is prophesying about a time far off.' Therefore, say to them that Adonai Yahweh says, 'None of my words will be delayed any more, but the word that I speak will be accomplished,' says Adonai Yahweh." Zephaniah 1:14 – "The great Day of Yahweh is near, near and coming very soon; Hear the sound of the Day of Yahweh! When it's here, even a warrior will cry bitterly." Isaiah 5:19 – " They say, 'Let him hurry, let him act quickly, so we can see; let the plan of the Holy One of Israel take shape and come to pass, then we will know it'!" The High Priest - Yeshua Revelation 1:7, 14-15 – "Look! He is coming with the clouds! Every eye will see him, including those who pierced him; and all the tribes of the Land will mourn him. 14His head and hair were as white as snow-white wool, his eyes like a fiery flame, 15his feet like burnished brass refined in a furnace, and his voice like the sound of rushing waters." The image of God Almighty having white hair, fiery eyes, and brass feet are well known in Older Covenant scriptures, as well as his coming in the clouds, and his having been pierced. The Parallels Psalm 104:3 – " He makes the clouds his chariot, and travels along on the wings of the wind." Ezekiel 43:2 – "I saw the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east; the sound was like that of rushing water; and the earth radiated his glory." Daniel 7:9 – "As I watched, thrones were set in place; and the Ancient One took his seat. His clothing was white as snow, the hair on his head was like pure wool. His throne was fiery flames, with wheels of burning fire." Daniel 9-10 – "His attire was white like snow; the hair of his head was like lamb's wool. His throne was ablaze with fire and its wheels were all aflame. 10A river of fire was streaming forth and proceeding from his presence." Daniel 10:6 – "His body resembled yellow jasper, and his face had an appearance like lightning. His eyes were like blazing torches; his arms and feet gleamed like polished bronze. His voice thundered forth like the sound of a big crowd." Zechariah 12:10 – "They will look to me, the one they have pierced." The High Priestly Garments Revelation 1:13 – "In the middle of the lampstands I saw one like a son of man, clothed in a robe reaching to the feet, and girded across his chest with a golden sash." Revelation is not the only place that the robe and golden sash is mentioned. In fact, the clothing is identical to the clothing that the High Priest wore! The Parallels Exodus 28:1-43; Exodus 39:1-31 – "Here are the items that need to be made: a breast piece, a priestly vest, a robe, an embroidered shirt, a turban, and a sash. These sacred clothes are to be made for your brother Aaron and his sons who will be my priests. Only gold and fine linen, woven with blue, purple, and red wool, are to be used for making these clothes." Daniel 10:5 – "I looked up and saw a man clothed in linen; around his waist was a belt made of gold from Upaz." The Robe Dipped In Blood Revelation 7:14 – "These are the ones who come out of the great tribulation, and they have washed their robes and made them white in the blood of the Lamb." Revelation 19:13 – "He is clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of God." The robe dipped in blood, or the blood of grapes, is also well known in the Older Covenant scriptures, both in conjunction with the High priest and with prophecies about Yeshua. The Parallels Genesis 49:10-11 10 – "The scepter shall not depart from Judah, nor the ruler's staff from between his feet, until tribute comes to him; and the obedience of the peoples is his. Binding his foal to the vine and his donkey's colt to the choice vine, he washes his garments in wine and his robe in the blood of grapes . . ." Leviticus 8:30 – "Then Moses took some of the anointing oil and of the blood that was on the altar and sprinkled it on Aaron and his garments, and also on his sons and his sons' garments. So he consecrated Aaron and his garments, and his sons and his sons' garments with him." Treading the Winepress Revelation 19:14-15 – "And the armies of heaven, wearing fine linen, white and pure, were following him on white horses. And out of his mouth comes a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations, and he will rule them with a rod of iron; he will tread the winepress of the fury of the wrath of Yahweh the Almighty." Revelation gives us the answer to the question posed in Isaiah. The treading of the winepress is what stains the robe with blood. The Parallel Isaiah 63:2-3 – "Why is your apparel red, and your garments like the one who treads in the winepress? 'I have trodden the wine trough alone, and from the peoples there was no man with me. I also trod them in my anger and trampled them in my wrath; and their lifeblood is sprinkled on my garments, and I stained all my raiment. For the day of vengeance is in my heart, and the year of my redeemed is come'." Conclusions The images and symbols used in Revelation are easy to understand in light of the parallels in the Older Covenant scriptures. Failing to make those connections is the reason many find Revelation hard to understand. Once the connections are made, however, the confusion disappears. Final Thought The great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay. We do NOT set dates, but clearly Yahweh is getting ready to change the course of human history once again. The signs are clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
