On October 11, 2018 we looked at the Mist that was seen at the Temple Mount in Jerusalem and on December 13, 2018 we looked at the massive stone that fell from the Temple Mount. Today we will look at another prophetic phenomenon – snakes.
The Snake
Micah 7:17 – "They will come trembling out of their hiding places like snakes slithering on the ground. They will tremble in the presence of Yahweh our God; they will stand in awe of You."
On October 31, 2018 a Coin Snake was witnessed wriggling out from between the stones of the Western Wall, most likely in search of a meal of pigeons or eggs. In a video, Sod1820, a pigeon is seen fleeing the snake as it emerges.
The snake made its appearance at the same time as a hotly contested mayoral election, whose main debate was about which candidate would allow the Third Temple to be built! A blogger quoted by Ynet News mused: "The snake appeared during this time of dispute and divisiveness at the site of the Temple which was destroyed because of widespread hatred and divisiveness." The snake also appeared around the same time as a head-on automobile accident near the Dead Sea that killed a family of eight and the horrific murder of eleven Jews in a Pittsburgh synagogue.
Reaction
Genesis 3:1 – "The serpent was the most cunning of all the wild animals that Yahweh Elohim had made."
The commentator who connected the dots of the automobile accident and the synagogue murders stated: "How symbolic that this snake should appear at the place that is the heart of the Jewish people, where so many Jews were killed, at a time when Jews are still being killed. We have received a symbolic warning from these holy stones."
A Kabbalah site cited a Midrash which compares Israel (who is faithful to one God, Yahweh) to a pigeon or dove (which is faithful to a single partner in its lifetime). They commented: "Just as the pigeon is safe so long as it seeks shelter among the stones of the Temple Mount, the Jews are protected by the Torah commandments. We are truly in the dangerous times that directly precede Mashiach." The Kabbalah site also claimed that the Gematira of snake, nachash [נָחָשׁ H5175] equals 358, the same as Mashiach [מָשִׁיחַ H4899]. s.
The Sod1820 video noted that the "snake appeared in the women's prayer section, emphasizing its relevance to women. In Genesis, it is described how Eve was tempted into sin by the snake." The Zohar teaches that the snake will make a reappearance in the days before Messiah's appearance at the end of the age and that the fixing [tikkun from כּוּן kûn H3559] of the snake will be accomplished in the Third Temple.
The Third Temple
The snake made its appearance at the same time as a hotly contested mayoral election, whose main debate was about which candidate would allow the Third Temple to be built! The Sanhedrin wrote letters to both candidates demanding they address this issue and build the new Temple. They had already written letters to Donald Trump and Vladimir Putin demanding the same thing. Is the rebuilding of the Third Temple a part of the yet unrevealed Trump Peace Plan? Time will tell.
Conclusions
The Dead Sea has been slowly changing from a salt sea to fresh water. Many see this as a precursor to the fulfillment of prophecies in Ezekiel 47:8-9, which tell us that the waters of the Dead Sea will be healed and will swarm with multitudes of fish. Earthquakes, famines, and pestilences world-wide are on the rise. Wars and rumors of wars assault us on a daily basis in the news. Perhaps the snake seen exiting from the Kotel Wall of the Temple Mount is yet another warning sign that the return of Yeshua is at the door, is imminent, is not far off, is just moments away from happening. Final Thought
The great day of Yahweh is getting really near, even at the door. It hastens forth and will not delay. We do NOT set dates, but clearly Yahweh is getting ready to change the course of human history once again. The signs are clear for those who have eyes to see and ears to hear.
