As it states in the article, the AI-powered traffic cams can hack your phone's camera and see whether or not you are wearing a seat belt, or whether or not you are holding a phone or other electronic device while driving.
You can bet Musk and Zuckerberg are looking into this. It would make them real good friends with lots of local police, not to mention the military with their surveillance capabilities.
