Jordanian Reaction to Trump Peace Plan Not All It SeemsBy: Marshall Ramsey II
AMMAN,
Jordan -- Jordanian statements of fear regarding a successful Middle
East peace plan organized by the Trump administration may not be all
they seem.
As reported in
worldisraelnews.com on Sunday, July 28,
2019, Oraib Rintawi, head of the Al-Quds Center for Political Studies
in Amman, appears to be concerned that a successful Middle East peace
plan, U.S. President Trump's "Deal of the Century", would be bad news
for Jordan if it is successful.
According to Mr. Rintawi, this
fear is based on the fact that President Trump does not specifically
have language in his peace plan regarding the creation of an independent
Palestinian state.
"Jordan is worried because the deal ignores
the idea of an independent Palestinian state," he said. "This will mean
that the sustainability of a Palestinian nation would be conditioned to
it being linked somehow with Jordan and that will open the gates of
hell for Jordan," according to Agence France-Presse.
This seems
to suggest that Jordan thinks it has some claim to the land of Israel
already and peels back the curtain on Jordanian thought, that they don't
really care about the falsely so-called Palestinian right-of-return,
they just want them out of the country.
Mr. Rintawi's "fears" do
not appear to be unfounded, however, because of a statement by Jared
Kushner, President Trump's Senior Adviser as well as son-in-law.
"If
you say 'two-state', it means one thing to the Israelis, it means one
thing to the Palestinians. We said, 'You know, let's just not say it.
Let's just say, 'let's work on the details of what this means,'" he
said.
Even President Trump appears not to be working on a
two-state solution. According to
worldisraelnews.com, Trump
administration officials have signaled that a Palestinian state may not
be the end goal of the agreement they have been working on, even though
details of the "Deal of the Century" have not been released to the
public.
Reading Mr. Kushner's statement carefully reveals that
President Trump is, in fact, working on a two-state solution. "Let's
just say, 'let's work on the details of what this means', implies that
their are ongoing negotiations between Israel and the Middle East Muslim
world regarding the exact terms of what 'two-state' means.
The
Jordanians are also using money as part of their spin cycle regarding
the so-called "Deal of the Century". According to Sufyan al-Qudah,
Jordan's foreign ministry spokesman, "No economic proposal could replace
a political solution that ends the occupation. This hints that there
is some sort of financial incentive promised to the Jordanians from the
Trump administration for agreeing to the deal.
According to Ahmad
Awad, head of the Amman-based Phenix Center for Economics and
Informatics Studies, a successful Trump-authored Middle East peace plan
would be harmful to both the Jordanians and the Palestinians.
"Forfeiting
the right of return and compensation (for refugees) will be dangerous
for Jordan and the Palestinians," he said. Since the Trump
administration has already promised financial compensation to the
Jordanians and is working on a two-state solution, this statement must
be viewed as a lie.
It should be noted that a two-state Middle
East peace plan cannot happen unless Israel gives up more land to the
Palestinians in exchange for peace. This was first tried with Gaza and
failed disastrously. Israel to this day faces the threat of not only
rocket attacks but the threat of invasion from the numerous underground
tunnels the followers of the "religion of peace" keep making.
The
United States of America is no stranger to the Muslim "land or money
for peace" extortion racket. The United States Navy was founded with
the passage of the Naval Act of 1794 specifically to combat Muslim
raiders from the Barbary Coast, which today refer to Morocco, Algeria,
Tunisia, and Libya. On August 8, 1800, the USS George Washington set
sail to Algiers to pay the Dey of Algiers, Baba Mustapha, the extortion
money, the jizya, demanded of the young United States of America in
exchange for safe passage in the through the Mediterranean Sea.
Upon
arrival in Algiers, the USS George Washington, under the command of
Captain William Bainbridge, a decorated officer of both navy of the
American colonies and new USA (United States of America), began
unloading her tribute payment. Captain Bainbridge, in keeping with the
custom of the time, sought an audience with Mustapha. He had expected
things to go smoothly. Upon meeting with the dey, Mustapha then
declared to him, "You pay me tribute. By that, you become my slaves. I
have, therefore, a right to order you as I may think proper."
Although
Captain Bainbridge resisted, he was nonetheless forced to comply with
the demands of the dey, which was to deliver goods, including African
slaves, to Constantinople, the capital of the Ottoman empire.
If
President Trump and Israel go ahead and make a peace treaty with the
Palestinians, (and not just the Palestinians, but the Jordanians, the
Egyptians, the Saudis, the Lebanese, the Syrians, the Iraqis, and the
Iranians), then they will have payed the extortion tax demanded of them
and become slaves of the "new Ottoman caliphate". Make no mistake,
followers of Islam do not desire peace with non-Muslims, though there be
some who live in peace with them. A true Muslim must wage war, jihad,
against all infidels, whom they call unbelievers, at all times, and in
all ways, including lying, stealing, and murder.
