Has the Holy Spirit used this tragedy to focus American's attention to the unconditional love of Jesus Christ, and to His ability to spiritually turn tragedy into triumph?

He is also black. And a Christian. And filled with the practical love of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.

Somewhere along the line, you were taught to hate people that are not like you and that is truly tragic. Marcus then spares no words to explain the Plan of Salvation to this horrific sinner, Dylann Roof. I cried all the way through this article, because streets were not rumbling with the noise and devastation of riot. The incredible flood of anger felt by black people all over this country seems to have succumbed to the tsunami of Love and Forgiveness pouring from the Savior through the hearts of black victim's families.
These grieving Christians demonstrated the kind of
"Defiant Grace" which has been missing since the days of Jesus Christ and His Disciples! This kind of "Defiant Grace Producing Defiant Faith" transformed the world once and is the only power that can transform it again.
Do you remember the immortal words of Joseph to his brothers who had sold him into slavery so many years earlier?
"... ye thought evil against me; but God meant it unto good, to bring to pass, as it is this day, to save much people..." (Genesis 50:20)
Marcus Stanley and family members of some of the slain in Charleston, followed the commandment of Jesus Christ.
"But I say unto you, Love your enemies, bless them that curse you, do good to them that hate you, and pray for them which despitefully use you, and persecute you; That ye may be the children of your Father which is in heaven..." (Matt 5:44-47)
Perhaps Satan drew Dylann Roof to the wrong target! Perhaps Dylann should have attacked a place where the love of the Gospel would not pour out as an immediate response to this tragedy. Love does overcome evil. When the power of the Holy Spirit responds to hate and tragedy with the Love of the Almighty Savior, lives can change and streets of riot can remain empty.
Let us hope and pray that this one public shooting will rebound to the glory of Jesus Christ, instead of promoting hatred and race war and a civil war. If this occurs, then these nine people will not have died in vain!

We totally agree! The REAL damage after a tragedy as this one is that godless Mass Media spare no effort to lavishly trumpet every meaningless and agenda-driven statement made by all these politicians on both sides of the aisle that simply throw gasoline on that proverbial fire!
The Media aftermath is as hurtful as it is predictable.

This is THE REAL reasons streets are not shuddering with riots and destruction of private property. Numerous black family members who had personally felt the scourge of losing loved ones, stood up to be counted for Jesus Christ. Rather than shouting angry words designed to bring a society down, these grieving loved ones publicly said
"But I forgive you"
