The Death of the Churches: The Apostasy Is Official

The Death of the Churches:  The Apostasy Is Official

by: Marshall Ramsey II

The Bible speaks of a time when men shall fall away from faith in Jesus Christ.  This does not mean that the Lord Jesus is simply not believed in anymore, nor does it mean that he is not believed in at all.  This falling away, also called the apostasy, speaks of people rejecting Jesus' claims of being God Almighty come in flesh, his claims of being the only way to heaven, etc.

It also speaks of people rejecting the teachings of Jesus in the name of Jesus, such as approving of homosexuality and calling it good when it is an abomination, that is, a very evil thing, before God.  This apostasy does not come from outside the church, for them that perish have not laid hold on Christ Jesus' teachings.  No, the apostasy foretold by the Lord Jesus himself must come from within, for only if one has previously laid hold on the claims of Christ can he fall away from them.

Many people have speculated that that day is rapidly approaching, including myself.  However, recent information in the news has convinced me that the churches have forever cast off Jesus Christ as the head of the church.  It came in the form of the death of former Afghan President Burhanuddin Rabbani.

PROOF OF THE APOSTASY

Mr. Rabbani was killed by a suicide bomber on Tuesday, September 20, 2011.  While this may not seem to be connected in any way to the apostasy talked about, I will now show you that it is.

In Jesus' dealings with mankind, he uses the talents and interests that they already have in order to communicate with them.  For cooks, he will use cooking; for numerologists, he will use numbers; for etymologists, he will use words.

Taking that into consideration, let us look at the name, Burhanuddin Rabbani.  Burhanuddin comes from two separate words, Burhan and uddin.  Burhan in Arabic means proof, or evidence.  Uddin is a suffix usually attached to another word and means, (of) the religion.  Rabbani is Arabic for 'divine.'  This is typically used in reference to deity.  It is also related to the Hebrew word Rabboni meaning, master.  When you combine the two meanings, you get 'divine Master,' a title that reflects both Jesus' divinity, (meaning he is God,) and his absolute authority over all things.

NUMBERS IMPORTANT

Let's not forget that numbers also have importance.  For instance, September is the 9th month of the Gregorian calendar year.  So if we put the date of Mr. Rabbani's death in numeric form, we get 09/20/2011.

In Biblical numerology, or as I like to call it, Biblical numerics, the number 9 is often associated with judgment or the finality of things.  So in the context of this topic it would mean, "You had your last chance to escape judgment and you blew it."

The number 20, as indicated by the day of the assassination and the first two digits of the year, is associated with expectancy of a thing, often one of great magnitude.  This would fit in with various prophecies in the Bible concerning the end of days that it is of great magnitude, the falling away.  Unfortunately, not many people are, or as is the case, were, looking for such an event, because it is swiftly followed by the return of the Lord Jesus Christ to earth bodily.

The fact that there are three 20's mentioned in the date of Burhanuddin Rabbani's assassination (the third 20 is gotten from adding the 9 and 11 together) indicates that this time was expected of the triune God (God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Ghost), even ordained.  It does not mean that he wanted the churches to fall away from him, far from it.  It just means that the 'final nail in the coffin' was decreed for that day, God Almighty knowing beforehand that Mr. Rabbani was going to die, and he decided to use the situation for good, that good being the warning of his true servants that the end of the churches' fellowship with their Lord has happened, that the time of our departure from this earth is soon, and that the opportunity for salvation is going back to the Jews.  This is commonly called the End of the Church Age.

Additionally, because the number 20 is seen two or three times, there are witnesses of these things, that all that was and is said of this day is true, "For by the mouth of two or three witnesses let everything be confirmed."

Make no mistake; this does not signify that we are going back under the law, or that salvation comes by works.  Salvation was, is, and always will be, of Jesus Christ and faith in him and his death on the cross for payment of the debt of sin.  It means that the curse God placed them under when they rejected Jesus is about to come to an end, and the Jews will be able to believe on the Lord Jesus.

Now comes the number 11.  For this, we go back to the curtain in the temple separating the Holy Place from the Holy of Holies.  The curtain was made up of 11 sections.  This signified that we were separated from fellowship with God.  The only person who was allowed to enter the Holy of Holies have to have the blood of the sacrificial lamb and could only be the high priest, which was a type of Jesus, who was also typified in the lamb that was slain.  The number 11 in this case would signify that the death of Jesus and the shedding of his blood was deemed not enough in the churches' eyes.

This is what the name and date of death of Burhanuddin Rabbani means to the churches as Christ Jesus would speak it:  "You have separated yourselves from me.  You have said that the atonement that I alone can provide is not enough.  Now judgment must come.  I foresaw this day and made plans for it.  There be saints of mine that have seen this day and awaited it.  They are my witnesses in this.  Because ye have shown yourselves unworthy and unwanting of my grace, I will now turn my back on you.  I call heaven and earth together also as a witness against you."

To you that fear the Lord, and worship him in spirit and in truth, you have nothing to fear, for the Lord knows your hearts, that they are pure.  He knows that you sin, and he will forgive them.  That's why he came here in the first place.  Fear not; be of good courage, "for now I will do a work for you that you will not believe, though it be told you."

Please, take what I am saying and see for yourself whether it be so.  Look at yourself and ask, "Do I fear the Lord in sincerity?  Do I merely give him lip service?"  If the answer is the former, great!  Keep on serving God with fear and trembling.  If the latter, then there is still hope, in that you can see that you are not right in God's eyes.  The Holy Ghost is speaking to you now telling you to turn to God and worship him in spirit and in truth.  Ask God to save you from your sins.  Confess them now, calling on the name of the Lord Jesus, the only begotten of the Father, who alone can save you from your sins.  Don't waste time!
