Identity of Bifrost

Here is a thought that just occurred to me today.  Bifrost, the Viking rainbow bridge, has a couple of identities.

In the one case, it is identified as Odin, the "all-father" of the Viking "gods".  Odin, like the Bifrost (also called Bilrost)(1) has nine different sons (in case of Bifrost, nine different worlds it connects to), each of whom went in different directions and became kings themselves.  The ruling families of Europe are all descended from these nine sons.(2)  The different worlds that Bifrost reached were actually genealogies of Odin's sons, and actual physical places that are relegated to the realm of fantasy.

Another identity for Bifrost is that it is a list of trade and/or migration routes for the Aesir, also called the Azeri, a name given to the people of Azerbaijan(3), and the birthplace and original land that Odin ruled before moving westward to Finland.  Both this claim, and the previously mentioned genealogies are given further credence by reading an article title "Herculs-Icelanders-Odin."  It contains some fascinating information.

What is amazing is that Odin's ancestry, if followed out to the full, shows that Odin is a direct male descendant of Judah, the fourth son of Jacob/Israel, through his son Zarah and his grandson Dara, also called Darda according to Jewish historian Josephus.  Thus, it also allows for the fulfillment of the blessing/prophecy by Israel on his deathbed that Judah should rule over the tribe/house of Israel given in Genesis 49.(5)
