RADCON 4 & 5 ALERTS FOR 01-05-2014

(Disclaimer:  I am not a specialist in radiation monitoring, just a concerned citizen.  While data is taken from www.radiationstation.com, which I believe is run by www.netc.com, any RADCON 5 alerts being issued are being issued by me.  Evaluate your own safety level and decide whether or not you need to evacuate.)

UPDATE:  As of 10:24 EST, the RADCON 4 alert for Anaheim, California has been cancelled.  Current CPM (counts per minute) stands at 255, 26 CPM above normal.

RADCON 5 Alerts for Phoenix, AZ, and San Diego, CA, have been reduced to RADCON 2 (Phoenix) and RADCON 3 (San Diego).  Their CPMs are 297 and 370, respectively.  Normal CPM for Phoenix is 232; normal CPM for San Diego is 284.
