U.S. Plane Spotted At Iranian Airport

By:  Marshall Ramsey II, Worthy News U.S. Correspondent

On April 15, 2014 a plane "owned-in-trust" by the Bank of Utah was spotted in a highly visible section of Mehrabad Airport in Tehran, Iran.

Official reasons for this are not given.

Economic restrictions under President Obama has been eased against Iran, however very little American or European economic activity is allowed inside.

The Bank of Utah has 13 branches including three in Ogden, two in Utah, one in Trementon (pop. 7,647).(Ogden means oak valley, name originates in England; Trementon means shaking town)

Brett King, an executive with the Bank of Utah in Salt Lake City says the Bank "has no idea why that plane was at that airport.  Use of the word that twice is a double-directive statement.  This indicates that Mr. King knows why the plane was in Iran.

Mr. King also stated, "As fiduciary, we must keep information confidential when it comes to the beneficiary."  This further strengthens the assertion that he, and Bank of Utah executives, know why the plane was in Iran.  It also declares that the Bank of Utah knew the reason for the trusteeship (which thing is mentioned later).  The use of fiduciary responsibilty by Mr. King in withholding certain information about the plane suggests that illegal activity is involved, either with the ownership of the plane, the reason for the plane being in Iran, or both.

Mr. King called the Bank of Utah "very conservative," and promised to get to the bottom of the situation "if there is any hint of illegal activity."  This is a cover statement used by Mr. King to distance himself and the Bank of Utah from unwanted criticism.  Mr. King knows there is illegal activity going on.  That he used the statement "if there is any hint of illegal activity" is another statement designed to misdirect the attention of investigators from the plane's true owners and their intentions.

A fiduciary is a person that acts on behalf of another, typically involving money.  Wikipedia defines a fiduciary as "a legal or ethical relationship of trust between two or more parties."  The Bank of Utah entered into a fiduciary agreement with this currently unknown party.  Two of the terms of the agreement appear to be to hold and/or invest money for the unknown party, and to keep their identity secret.  Under normal circumstances, this would be suspicious.  Given that the nation of Iran is involved, a nation against which the United States of America has sanctions, specifically economic sanctions, the case takes on the appearance of a money laundering scheme designed to circumvent U.S. law and transfer money from parties inside the boundaries of the United States to the government of Iran, although this is not certain.

Mr. King stated that Bank of Utah does not actually own the plane, but is a trustee for the "unidentified investors."

An investor is a person who allocates/sets aside capital (money) with the expectation of a financial return.  This means that whoever put up money for the plane did so on behalf of another party.  Both the investors and the owner of the plane wish to remain anonymous.  This gives another indication that illegal activity is present and that both parties would face backlash if their identities were revealed.

The Bank of Utah acts as trustee for a large number of planes, 1,169 in total.  These range from Boeing 747 jet aircraft to piston-powered Cessnas.  The Bank of Utah ranks among the top banks in America in terms of aircraft trusteeship.  Apparently, there aren't many banks that act as trustee for more planes.  Given the rather small size of Bank of Utah, it may be that this bank was chosen specifically for its small size, so as to be overlooked in an investigation.

The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has not given any assistance concerning why the jet was seen in the Tehran airport.  This may be an indication that certain high-ranking members of the FAA are involved in this illegal activity which seems to be taking place.

The United States Treasury Department's Office of Foreign Assets Control, which enforces the sanctions against Iran, and would have had to approve the presense of the aircraft on Iranian soil, has refused to comment.

Iran's mission spokesman to the United Nations, Hamid Babaei, also did not offer any help as to the purpose of the plane.

"We don't have any information in this regard," Babaei told the New York Times.  "I refer you to the owner."

Some information was gathered from officials at the Mehrabad Airport in Tehran who described the plane as V.I.P., which is an acronym for Very Important Person.  This indicates that the plane is either owned or financed by, or both, someone or some ones with lots of money and/or political power.

Curious is the fact that this very plane should be spotted in Davos, Switzerland at the World Economic Forum this past January, and in October in London, England on its way to Ghana, who recently took up the chairmanship of ECOWAS, the Economic Community Of West African States.

Former federal aviation officials spoke anonymously to the New York Times that American officials almost certainly approved the plane to be in Iran.  The American flag spotted on the tail section appears to indicate some government official.  It does not appear likely that a private citizen would fly the American flag on the back of the aircraft.
