Dear <Your Name>,
I hope you were able to read my email below, but if not, I'm sending it again.
Persecution is intensifying in India and many other places around the world where Christians are caught in war, conflict, oppression, dictatorial rule and other dangerous situations.
Your help is absolutely critical.
Open Doors is on the ground in the toughest places, providing support to our persecuted brothers and sisters to remind them of God's love and provision and to show them they are not alone.
Will you help by giving a generous gift today?

Radical Hindu nationalism is on the rise
Open Doors

I've just heard from our teams in India, and I wanted to send you an update because it's clear that Christian persecution is escalating.
Some in India don't want to acknowledge the persecution that exists against Christians. Yet the news reports are undeniable:
In June 2018, five Christian women were beaten and abducted from their Christian school. It was later confirmed that all five women were sexually assaulted by their abductors.
In January 2018, Pastor Gideon Periyaswamy was found hung from the thatched roof of his house a week after he complained to police about opposition from radical Hindus.
The growing crisis is why I'm writing to ask for your help to support our global family today.
Our own World Watch List research showed that in 2018, more than 12,000 Indian Christians were attacked. Additionally, the number of churches attacked increased substantially from 34 in 2017 to 98 in 2018.
For Hindu extremists in India, to be Indian is to be Hindu. To follow any other religion is not tolerated. The consequence is severe persecution. Sometimes, even death.
Open Doors is working through our local partners and volunteers on the ground to distribute Bibles and Christian literature, provide persecution preparedness training, help with socio-economic development and advocate for victims.
If you feel led to help, please give a generous gift today.
India is now #10 on our World Watch List for the most dangerous countries to follow Jesus. But it's not the only place in the world where Christians are risking everything for their faith.
Today, I pray you'll help strengthen and encourage our brothers and sisters around the world by providing emergency relief, food, shelter, legal aid, Bibles and more through the ministry of Open Doors.
Your gift will bless a Christian suffering for their faith and help them stand strong, whatever may come.
God hears the cries of His people and He is working, especially in the most hostile regions. Together, we can help reach even the darkest places with the light of His love.
In Christ,
