This would not be expected of Hindus, Buddhists, or Muslims. Why should it be expected of Christians?
A Personal Message from ADF's CEO
͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏ ͏
Dear Friend, I wanted to make you aware of a Christian homeless ministry that Washington State is threatening to punish - just because the ministry wants to remain distinctively Christ-centered.
Yakima Union Gospel Mission has been given an impossible choice: hire non-Christians or abandon its religious purpose. This isn't just a threat to the Mission. It's a threat to every American's religious freedom.
So, we're suing on behalf of the Mission. But we can't do this alone.
We need your help. We never charge our clients—including the Mission—a single dime to represent them in the courtroom, even if it takes us all the way to the U.S. Supreme Court. But cases like that can cost hundreds of thousands of dollars.
The cost is worth it if it means your religious freedom is protected and a Christian ministry is able to serve those in need, consistent with its beliefs. Will you give to help us defend the Mission? | |
Thank you in advance for your generosity. We must stand together against government overreach.
Sincerely, Kristen Waggoner CEO, President & General Counsel Alliance Defending Freedom
