Fw: Marshall, Our Family in India Asks You to Stand With Them

Please consider this.  Thank you.

Pray that our elections will be peaceful and fair. –Pastor Vishal*

Pray the leaders we elect will help to bring greater peace to India. –Pastor Ravi*

Pray that God will continue to build the faith of all believers, whatever the outcome.  –Pastor Maruc*

Today, India heads to the polls to vote on who will run the country. And leaders in the church in India are sharing prayers and asking us to stand with believers during this critical election.

These pastors know that the outcome could carve a path for greater freedom for their country's 64 million Christians—or it could mean even greater persecution, especially for those who have left Hinduism to follow Jesus.

Since 2014 when the current ruling party was elected, violent attacks on Christians have increased a staggering 425 percent.

Christian leaders in India realize what's at stake if the BJP ruling party stays in power or grows even more influential.
