Where Ibrahim* lives in North Africa, Christians often keep their faith a secret, even from their closest family members.
The dominant religion in this part of the world is Islam, and those who are discovered to have converted to Christianity—especially if they come from a Muslim background—could have their children taken away or be forced to divorce.

—Ibrahim Challenging summer months ahead For Open Doors, the summer season is challenging. Giving typically slows down. Yet the needs of our persecuted brothers and sisters around the world remain constant ... and in many cases, critical.
In many regions, Christians are suffering in the constant fire of persecution.
But even in the fire, they're on fire for Jesus—which is the focus of our new Church on Fire campaign—how God is working through His people all over the world, even as they feel the flames of persecution.
