Fw: BREAKING: Supreme Court WIN for 1A and 2A!

Score a win for lovers of the 1st and 2nd Amendment rights guaranteed us by the U.S. Constitution.

California can't demand gun owners' names & addresses!
National Foundation for Gun Rights

I was afraid I would never get to write this email.

But today, the U.S. Supreme Court slapped down California gun grabbers' demands for gun supporters' names and addresses!

In AFPF v. Bonta -- a case your National Foundation for Gun Rights was backing -- California government bureaucrats were demanding to see lists of top donors to gun rights organizations. Including ours.

At stake was our ability to fight for the Second Amendment while protecting the privacy of NFGR supporters like you.

They wanted your name and your full address on their government lists just because you support the Second Amendment.

That is a flat-out unconstitutional demand -- and today, the U.S. Supreme Court agreed!

While we're still digesting the details of the ruling, it's clear that the Supreme Court REBUKED California's unconstitutional demands and ruled to protect the free speech of NFGR members like you.

But we have more work to do.

This ruling will spark many battles in the states as Left-leaning politicians work to get around the ruling to get their grubby hands on gun supporters' names and addresses -- and we all know what they would do with a list like that.

For instance, a newspaper in New York in 2012 proved the danger of laws like that by publishing the names and home addresses of scores of local Concealed Carry permit holders.1

Can you imagine the implications if this happened nationwide?

Many good folks would immediately become vulnerable to harassment and WORSE from government officials seeking to intimidate Second Amendment supporters into silence.

And that means we have more battles ahead to protect gun supporters' free speech rights. Will you contribute $100, $75, $50, $25, or even $10 TODAY to help us fight?

This isn't the first time your National Foundation for Gun Rights has fought for the free speech rights of gun supporters at the Supreme Court level.

Just last year, we took Montana's draconian anti-speech regulations all the way to the Supreme Court -- something very few organizations even try.

The Court dodged the issue completely that time and refused to rule on the merits.

So when AFPF v. Bonta was appealed to the Supreme Court, we joined a coalition to file an amicus "friend of the court" brief urging the Court to protect the free speech rights of gun supporters.

This time, the Court ruled AGAINST the California gun grabbers!!

But this will unleash efforts in blue states -- and in some Republican-leaning states as well -- to exploit any loopholes in this ruling and target gun supporters' free speech.

So today, we celebrate. Tomorrow, we keep fighting!

Will you help us gear up for round two by making a TAX-DEDUCTIBLE contribution of $100, $75, $50, $25, or even $10 today?

For Freedom,

Dudley Brown
Executive Director
National Foundation for Gun Rights

P.S. Today the U.S. Supreme Court slapped down California gun grabbers' demands for gun supporters' names and addresses!

In AFPF v. Bonta -- a case your National Foundation for Gun Rights was backing -- California government bureaucrats were demanding to see lists of top donors to conservative nonprofits. Including ours.

This win for the First and Second Amendments will unleash efforts in blue states -- and in some Republican-leaning states as well -- to exploit any loopholes in this ruling and target gun supporters' free speech.

This means the Left will keep fighting to get their grubby hands on gun supporters' names and addresses.

And that means we have more battles ahead to protect gun supporters' free speech rights. Will you contribute $100, $75, $50, $25, or even $10 TODAY to help us fight?
