Fw: Gun Activist Thrown Out of Committee?!

National Association for Gun Rights

When I say the word censorship, what comes to mind?

Social media platforms, Joe Rogan's podcast, "free speech" zones, criticism of the Chinese government? Or how about an anti-gun "Republican" silencing support of a pro-gun bill in committee?

Because that's exactly what "Republican" Senator Liz Brown did in Indiana yesterday in her attempt to kill pro-gun legislation.

For the last two years, Liz Brown has been on the warpath working with anti-gun groups to kill pro-gun bills like Constitutional Carry in the Judiciary Committee she chairs.

In fact, under her watch, more than a dozen pro-gun bills never even got a hearing, and on two occasions she personally killed Constitutional Carry by refusing to schedule a hearing or a vote.

So when testimony came up for HB 1077 in the Indiana House, Hoosier Gun Rights representative Will Fite signed up to speak on behalf of the bill for the National Association for Gun Rights and the state level affiliate.

After waiting through hours of hostility to pro-gun activists and organizations, Will finally got his chance to speak on behalf of HB 1077, Indiana Constitutional Carry.

But in his opening statement when he urged the committee to look at the FBI statistics and ignore the baseless lies Mom's Demand Action – vocal supporters of Liz Brown – the Senator had him silenced and kicked off the podium under threat of being escorted out by Capitol Police.

Despite the setback, Mr. Fite sat throughout the entire 9-hour hearing, never allowing Brown to secretly amend the bill.

"You can kick me out of the hearing, but you won't get me out of the building. I'm here to finish this thing." – Will Fite

Everywhere we go, anti-gun legislators try to stop pro-gun legislation and silence our activists and members.

We at the National Association for Gun Rights may be threatened, we will be attacked and disrespected, but we will never close our mouths and sit on the sideline when our God-given rights are under attack.

Thanks for your continued support.

For Liberty,

Dudley Brown
President
National Association for Gun Rights

P.S. Yesterday anti-gun "Republican" Senator Liz Brown berated pro-gun activists and organizations for daring to support Constitutional Carry in Indiana – a bill she had personally killed twice before.

In the midst of that committee debate, she then threw, Hoosier Gun Rights Director Will Fite, out in his attempt to dispel the lies of Bloomberg-back anti-gun activists.

We at the National Association for Gun Rights and our state-level affiliates like Hoosier Gun Rights will never back down in our attempts to fight for our members and their rights.
