Details Emerge Suggesting That Elvis Presley Was Murdered

Details Emerge Suggesting That Elvis Presley Was Murdered

GRACELAND, TN -- A fresh look at the details in the death of Elvis Aaron Presley, also known as "the King", reveal that Mr. Presley did not die sitting on a toilet as has been said, but rather was murdered and then placed in that undignified position in an effort to cast doubt as to the real cause.

For a number of years, there has been speculation as to what happened to Elvis Presley.  Theories range from the not-so-bizarre:  Elvis faked his own death to escape the press, to the gluttonous:  he died choking on a sandwich or five pounds of mashed potatoes, to the out-of-this-world:  Elvis was kidnapped by aliens.  Personally, I believe he died, and to that end I believe, based on evidence publicly available, that "the King" was murdered.

Elvis Aaron Presley was born on January 08, 1935 to Vernon Elvis and Gladys Love (born Smith) Presley in Tupelo, MS.  A twin brother, Jesse Garon Presley, was delivered stillborn 35 minutes before him.

Elvis was last reported alive on August 16, 1977 by his fiancée, Ginger Alden.  According to a summary at the bottom of Elvis' autopsy report, not only was Elvis Presley found in OK condition, but was actually playing racquet ball.  While not impossible, it does seem strange that a man in Mr. Presley's apparent health condition would be playing basketball in the early morning hours and then die from a heart attack a few hours later.

Curiously absent from the coroner's report are Elvis' weight, his length(height), his body temperature at time of autopsy (this could give an approximate time of death, and the date and time of the report.  In any death case, especially such a high profile case as this one, to get this information on paper and into official record would have been vital for the mental health of a great many family and friends, but also would have stopped a number of "conspiracy theories" from being developed, to say nothing of the fact that it should have been standard practice to get this information immediately.  This alone says that the coroner, George Nichopoulos, knew his condition was not as commonly reported and chose to hide what he knew, which, of course, shows that Elvis Presley's death was not a heart attack, choking to death on a sandwich, etc...

What is known is that at the time the medical examiner's (ME's) report was completed is that Mr. Presley was found in a state of rigor mortis.  This means that the body had grown stiff after death.  However, this alone is not enough to prove murder in any case, only that the person had been dead for at least two hours.  So we move on to Livor Mortis.

Until investigating Mr. Presley's death, I had never heard of livor mortis.  Livor mortis is a settling of the blood in the body which occurs after death.  At the time of the ME's report, Elvis' body already had fixed livor mortis.  This means that by the time Mr. Nichopoulos performed his autopsy, Mr. Presley had already been dead for at least 12 and a half hours as the process starts about 20 to 30 minutes after death and the discoloration of the skin that occurs becomes fully fixed around 12 hours after that.  Coroners test for livor fixation by pressing a finger or thumb into the discolored area.  If the area pressed does not turn white (called blanching), then the pooling becomes fixed.  Also, the blood during this time turns from red to purple.

If we walk back from the time the police were notified of Mr. Presley's death, which was 3:30 PM, this would put the time of death at approximately 3:00 AM.  However, since Elvis was discovered in a full state of rigor mortis and livor mortis (he was 'discovered' around 2:00 PM August 16), this puts the time of death at 1:30 AM on August 16, 1977.  The last photograph that would be taken of Mr. Presley alive was at 12:28 AM the same morning, taken by a Robert Call who was outside the gates of Graceland along with his wife and four year old daughter.

An article written in 2016 at elvisdaily.com, has the timeline differently.  They have Mr. Presley alive as late as 11:30 AM on August 16, 1977.  It states that Ginger Alden, Elvis' fiancee at the time, knocked on the bathroom door at approximately 1:30 PM, did not receive an answer, and opened the door and went inside, supposedly finding Elvis Presley dead, face down and half naked from him going to the bathroom.

The problem with this is that both rigor mortis and livor mortis had fully set in.  At a minimum of 8 hours for full livor, and even taking into account the time of pronouncement of death which was 3:30 PM, this places the actual time of Elvis' death at around 9:30 AM, the same time Elvis was supposed to be heading for the bathroom to read.  Even if the timeline of events mentioned at elvisdaily.com is 100% correct, the condition of the body would tell us that rigor and livor mortis was somehow altered to produce the conditions Elvis was found in, someone who had medical knowledge of rigor and livor, someone who might know a way to speed up those conditions.

If this is not enough, and just as damaging as, if not more so than the condition of the body were two wounds found on Elvis Presley's body by the medical examiner.  According to the medical examiner's report, Elvis was found with a pressure mark near his left eye and a sutured thoracotomy on the left side of his abdomen.  These tell the real circumstances of the King's death.

The pressure point was determined to be there despite the body being in a state of full lividity, indicating that someone or something struck Mr. Presley on the side of the head prior to death.  The 'sutured thoracotomy' is even more telling, and suggests an intentional killing of Mr. Presley.  Not only was the death of Elvis intentional, the fact that someone used the thoracotomy procedure indicates that Mr. Presley's body was at least partially drained of blood, perhaps in an effort to avoid the pooling of the blood at livor, someone who had medical knowledge

Given all of this information, it can only be surmised that the ME report stated that Elvis Presley died of natural causes was purposefully entered in error.  It also suggests that the medical examiner, Dr. Nichopoulos, Elvis' father Vernon, his girlfriend Ginger Alden, and perhaps Elvis' body guards, are/were co-conspirators in his death.

It is safe to say that Elvis Aaron Presley was murdered by those closest to him.
