Although there are not eight cities to experience a total solar eclipse in the U.S., there are seven named Nineveh that will experience 85% or better of the eclipse according to the article below. It has been said that the reason God gave the Ninevites 40 days to repent is because there was a solar eclipse going to occur at the end of them. It could be that judgment is going to fall on that day if God's people don't repent of their sins and do what God tells them.
