Against the Nations
Psalm 9:19 – "Arise, oh Yahweh, do not let man prevail; let the nations be judged before you."
Psalm 110:6 – "He will judge among the nations, He will fill them with corpses, He will shatter the chief men."
Isaiah 2:4, Micah 4:3 – "And He will judge between many peoples and render decisions for mighty, distant nations."
Joel 3:2 – "Let the nations be aroused and come up to the valley of Jehoshaphat, For there I will sit to judge all the surrounding nations."
Isaiah 54:17 – "No weapon that is formed against you, Israel, shall prosper."
Yahweh will judge the nations. Scripture makes this very clear. And the path those judgments will take?
Hal Lindsay puts it this way: "
The world's tenuous economic system is facing impending collapse which will spark a global panic; there is a dramatic rise of persecution of Christians throughout the world; old diseases and pestilences that were once considered eradicated are making a stunning return amid the rise of new ones; earthquakes are occurring with greater frequency, but, most importantly, in the most unusual places around the world; famine, always present somewhere on a local scale, is now a looming specter regionally and threatens to become global; and the list could go on."
The final judgment upon the nations will take place at the end of the 70th week, commonly referred to as the Tribulation Period, according to Daniel 9:24. Until that time, all attempts to remove the Jews from the land will fail. Until that time, the nations of the world will detest all that Yahweh and Yeshua stand for, and will continue to fight against them and reject their lordship. For this reason, he has handed them over to leaders that have reprobate mindsets.
Against Israel
Ezekiel 11:10 – "You will fall by the sword. I will judge you to the border of Israel."
Ezekiel 18:30 – "Therefore I will judge you, O house of Israel, each according to his conduct."
Ezekiel 33:20 – "O house of Israel, I will judge each of you according to his ways."
Israel will also be judged. Not so much for their actions against other nations, but because they, Yahweh's chosen, have failed and continue to fail to recognize their own messiah, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach!
Hal Lindsay puts it this way: "
Israel, back in its homeland, is facing growing dangers and the world's hatred; Russia is rising again to prominence and being prepared to lead a confederation of nations to war against Israel; Iran is gaining the means by which it can threaten Israel and head the coalition that will join with Russia to attack her; America, the only global moral and military power that can hold Israel's enemies at bay and maintain balance in the world, is collapsing into irrelevance; China is quickly gaining a regional dominance that will enable it to join with other eastern powers to challenge the Russia/Iran foray into the Middle East . . ."
The final judgments upon Israel will take place during the 70th week, commonly referred to as the Tribulation Period, according to Daniel 9:24. Greater disasters than any nation can bring against Israel will break forth, but just as the Assyrians brutalized the northern tribes of Israel 2500 years ago, so today Israel is being brutalized by the Islamic peoples. It is only time before the rest of the nations follow suit.
Conclusion
All of the disasters happening world wide today are the beginnings of judgment upon all nations of the world, including Israel. The final judgments upon the nations are beginning to emerge, due to their hatred of Yahweh. The nations of the world detest all that Yahweh / Yeshua stand for, and will continue to fight against them and reject their lordship.
Why are Israel and the Israeli people becoming the center of the world's hatred? They individually and corporately have failed to recognize their own messiah, Yeshua Ha'Mashiach. They are a nation set apart. Hatred of Israel and the Israeli people is just a symptom of hatred of Yahweh.
Prophecy continues to unfold as foretold by the Hebrew prophets. The stage is being set. History is moving extremely quickly towards the prophesied one world government, the one world financial system, and the rise of both the Antichrist and the False Prophet. The birth pangs are just over the horizon. Yeshua Ha'Mashiach is coming soon – get busy reaching the lost.
